Valentine's Day Dump

Valentines comes once a year, the day that was invented for people to spend the day with their other half. The smell of fresh roses, the taste of chocolate candy and the feel of a kiss instantly come to mind. Every year people thrive to make it special and more memorable just to show how much love they have towards their love of their life. A lot of romantic things happened on our school last February 14, and to be honest, it bugs me out. Despite those, I still managed to end Valentine’s day with a smile.

Actually, my Valentine’s day experience was mediocre. It was like a normal school day, nothing much and nothing new. Though most of the teachers were not able to teach in the classroom, its fine for me. I spent my Valentine’s day walking and roaming around the school together with my friend/s. Then we decided to go in the math booth at the math department to see what they have to show. Turns out, there were numerous stalls in there, message booth, and marriage booth, just to name a few. Nothing really intrigued me to try those, so just went on to buy some of their products, then headed back to our classroom. Nothing special, right? In the afternoon, I witnessed a lot of students flirting  and spending time with their other half, and I just didn’t care. However, my family were the ones that made up to me and we spent time bonding with each other.

In conclusion, I learned that the most important thing to remember is that just by honoring the love you share with heartfelt and meaningful expressions, you will make their day a very special one. You don't have to spend a lot of money to celebrate your love together. Even a quiet evening at home filled with romantic movies, a delicious meal and your loved one's
favorite dessert can serve as an incredible night to remember. It's easy to forget to take a moment to pause and show our loved ones that we really care, and that's what Valentine's Day is really all about. We're given that much needed reminder that we need to pay attention to the things that truly give our lives meaning. Thank you!
