Little one's era

Every year in November, the Philippines observes National Children's Month. This month-long celebration aims to provide Filipino children with a safe environment, a good education, and access to healthcare. Dr. Jose Rizal, the Philippines' national hero, once stated that the youth are the future of this country, and that investing in children is absolutely essential to the betterment of the next generation. This holiday is also motivated by empathy.

As a third-world country, most families suffer financially, and children bear the brunt of the burden. The goal of National Children's Month is to provide assistance to children who have been subject to abuse, poverty, natural catastrophes, or violence. This month also focuses on how we can help and support
them. First, Several non-governmental organizations in the Philippines host complementary feeding programs for street children. They help organize the event, bring food, or help serve their meals. Second, orphanages are one of the most underserved sectors in the Philippines. Bring smiles and joy to the faces of children near you by hosting games and food events. Just imagine the joy of the children in celebrating this time of month. If the children are happy, we are too, right?

National Children's Month is a community-wide exertion. It's insightful to see all these people working together to make this event a reality. Children will be the next generation of world leaders. We should enhance and provide them with education and a safe environment to ensure that their future is brighter than ever. It may not made a change to some, but it did made a change to the children themselves.
